We’re looking for a Line Cook to join the team at Kildonan Common Inc. - Midnight Annie’s Beach Bar & Grill!

Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new ideas and refining existing recipes to enhance flavor profiles and presentation.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by following proper food handling procedures and kitchen cleanliness protocols.
- Use knife skills proficiently for chopping, slicing, dicing, and other food preparation tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal preparation during busy service times, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, rotation, and inventory management to minimize waste.
Experience & Skills We’re Looking For:
- 1–2 years of experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role (preferred)
- Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food preparation, and knife skills
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Self-motivated, proactive, and quick to learn
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
