Child and Parent Resource Institute (CPRI) provides specialized, trauma-informed mental health and developmental services for children and youth. Please note:
There is one on-call vacancy available, 6 months with possible extension, working anywhere from 0 - 36.25 hours per week.
In a confidential and sensitive work environment, you will:
- handle medical and clinical records with a high degree of accuracy
- scan and upload clinical medical reports into an electronic system
- provide clerical and reception support
- prioritize/mange correspondence and requests for information
- monitor, review and analyze client casebooks ensuring accurate case records
- maintain accurate and organized filing systems
- collect data and prepare reports as required
- support records management project work
- ability to follow set procedures for Clinical Information Systems and Quality Improvement
- ability to follow legislation that protect client information (Child, Youth and Family Services Act, Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and the Personal Health Information Protection Act
- ability to assemble and prepare clinical case books following strict procedures and confidentiality requirements
- ability to manage multi-line phone system and make emergency code announcements
- proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and in person
- experience explaining procedures in a clear, supportive, and easy to understand manner
- always work collaboratively and cooperatively with individuals, groups or when information is requested
- organize information and data in a structured, accurate, and efficient manner
• plan and prioritize work within set timeframes and adapt to changes of high volume & fast pace • identify issues, gather relevant information, and determine appropriate solution
- proficient with MS Office to format documents, create spreadsheets, reports, work within templates and prepare letters and correspondence
- demonstrated experience using MS Office features to plan and prioritize and meet deadlines .
- experience with database systems to accurately input client information
