The working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, excluding statutory holidays. Our beautiful and modern open concept office is conveniently located adjacent to Steeles Ave. & Highway 400.
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Receptionist / Admin Assistant to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients, visitors, and guests in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Answer, screen and direct incoming phone calls and emails.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars as required.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries.
- Maintain reception and meeting areas in a clean and organized condition.
- Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, and refreshments for clients and visitors.
- Prepare daily breakfast smoothies and other light refreshments for executives as required.
- Load and unload the dishwasher, wash dishes (light), and maintain kitchen cleanliness on a daily basis.
- Monitor and restock office kitchen, coffee, and hospitality supplies.
- Assist the accounting department with Data Entry
- Help HR in planning and arranging employee engagement events, decorations for the seasons etc.
- Help with purchasing material when required.
- Provide general administrative support and assist with other office duties as assigned.
Requirements
· Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
· Excellent attendance record with a sense of accountability. We are looking for responsible individuals who report to work daily.
· Fast paced and collaborative individual who is able to keep up with our daily business needs
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
· Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
· Professional attitude and appearance
· Solid written and verbal communication skills. Be able to communicate with upper management
· Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
· Excellent organizational skills
· Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
· Customer service attitude
· High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
