Job Summary:
We are hiring a Summer Assistant Educator through Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) program! As a Summer Assistant Educator, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of early childhood education while providing support to our educators.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and implementing educational activities for children
- Support teachers in maintaining a safe and nurturing classroom environment
- Provide one-on-one attention and support to children as needed
- Help with classroom management and behavior guidance
- Assist with daily tasks such as preparing materials, organizing supplies, and cleaning
Qualifications:
- Age: 16-30
- Must have current Standard First Aid Certificate plus CPR
- A clear Criminal Record Check plus Vulnerable Sector Screen
-Up to date Immunization
- A love for children
- A lot of patience
- Previous experience working with children is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team environment
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual
