Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
- Control entry and exit points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity and identify potential security threats
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies with appropriate action or escalation
- Perform regular inspections of the premises to identify vulnerabilities or safety hazards
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and visitor records
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to resolve incidents efficiently
Skills
- Strong understanding of law enforcement principles and procedures
- Proficiency in surveillance techniques and CCTV operation for continuous monitoring
- Experience in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and asset loss
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and inspections
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergency situations
- Good communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and visitors
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods while maintaining alertness
