Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Appliance Delivery Driver to join our team in Sydney, NS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering appliances safely and efficiently to customers’ homes and businesses, ensuring a positive customer experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, physical strength, and the ability to handle heavy loads with care and professionalism.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport appliances to various locations within Sydney and surrounding areas
- Load and unload appliances, utilizing moving equipment such as dollies or lifting straps when necessary
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, maintaining high standards of customer service
- Assist customers with appliance placement and setup upon delivery, providing clear instructions if needed
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that arise during transit
Requirements
- Minimum Valid Cass 5 driver’s license with 3 years driving experience a clean driving record, clean criminal search
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle bulky appliances with care
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Previous experience in customer service or delivery roles is advantageous
- Ability to work independently, follow safety protocols, and maintain a positive attitude during deliveries
Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
