Position: Full-TimeWe are seeking an experienced, organized, and motivated Dental Receptionist / Team Lead to join our growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident dental professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading by example, and is committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience.As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in ensuring the front office operates efficiently while supporting the clinical team and helping the practice achieve its scheduling and production goals.
QualificationsRequired:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a dental receptionist in a Canadian dental practice.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, insurance, and treatment planning.
- Demonstrated ability to present treatment plans and help patients move forward with recommended care.
- Proven track record of maintaining productive, full schedules through effective scheduling and patient communication.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to think quickly, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing situations.
- Fast learner with strong attention to detail.
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
Assets:
- Experience using Paradigm dental practice management software.
- Previous leadership or team lead experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and provide an outstanding customer service experience.
- Manage a productive schedule by minimizing gaps and optimizing provider time.
- Coordinate appointments, recalls, and treatment scheduling.
- Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements with patients.
- Process insurance claims and assist patients with benefit inquiries.
- Support and mentor front desk team members while helping maintain efficient daily operations.
- Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Assist with administrative projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
