MUST have a MINIMUM of 2 years in-ratio childcare experience IN CANADA (practicum hours/nanny/babysitting are NOT considered in ratio experience) and be FLUENT in English.
We Are Hiring:
- Level 1, 2, and 3 Early Childhood Educators (ECEs)
- Practicum students with Level 2 or 3 in progress (with potential for future employment)
Requirements:
- MINIMUM 2 YEARS of IN RATIO childcare experience
- FLUENT in English
- Police clearance
- First aid certification
- KNOWLEDGE of child development, safety, and age-appropriate activities.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Loves working with children.
- Knowledge & experience with Alberta Child Care Act & Regulation, Health and Safety Regulation/Procedures
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, nurturing care for children.
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities.
- Support learning, development, and well-being.
- Collaborate with staff to maintain a professional daycare environment.
