Harvest Haven Personal Care Home is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as our Personal Care Home Manager.

What You’ll Do
Leadership & Operations
- Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of Harvest Haven Personal Care Home.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative workplace culture.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and support employees to promote professional growth and quality resident care.
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development in collaboration with Human Resources.
- Ensure compliance with Saskatchewan Personal Care Home standards, legislation, organizational policies, and best practices.
- Manage operational budgets, supplies, purchasing, and invoice approvals.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, inspections, and emergency preparedness activities.
- Investigate incidents, implement corrective actions, and promote a culture of safety.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, healthcare partners, and community stakeholders.
- Participate in the manager on-call rotation.
Resident Care
- Oversee the delivery of safe, high-quality resident care.
- Complete nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor resident health, respond to changes in condition, and coordinate appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners, physicians, pharmacies, and other healthcare professionals.
- Support admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation and compliance with professional nursing standards.
- Assist with direct resident care as required.
Medication & Clinical Oversight
- Ensure safe medication management practices.
- Oversee medication administration and documentation.
- Monitor medication incidents and implement quality improvement measures.
- Maintain compliance with medication storage, documentation, and narcotic control requirements.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with the Saskatchewan Association of Licensed Practical Nurses (SALPN).
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care, personal care homes, or seniors’ care.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is considered a strong asset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Personal Care Home Orientation Workshop.
- Experience working with seniors living with dementia and complex care needs.
- Experience with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems.
