Overview
We are seeking reliable and physically capable Mover/Packer (On Call) to support our warehouse operations. This role involves assisting with the loading, unloading, packing, and organizing of goods in a fast-paced environment. The position offers flexible on-call hours suitable for individuals looking to gain experience in warehouse distribution and heavy equipment operation. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and equipment operation as needed.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload shipments using appropriate heavy equipment such as forklifts, crane, clamp truck, and order picker
- Pack and organize items efficiently for shipping or storage
- Assist with warehouse distribution tasks including order picking and inventory management
- Operate warehouse management systems to track shipments and inventory
- Ensure proper handling of goods during loading/unloading to prevent damage
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols
- Support construction or assembly tasks related to warehouse setup or maintenance as required
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
Experience
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or construction is preferred
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as forklift, crane, clamp truck, or load & unload machinery is highly desirable
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and order picker operation is a plus
- Experience with heavy lifting, order picking, and handling warehouse materials is beneficial
- Candidates with warehouse experience including use of heavy equipment or in logistics roles will be prioritized
- Experience driving a 5ton truck is preferred

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
