Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Fast Food Manager to oversee daily operations at our busy restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining efficient restaurant performance to provide a positive dining experience for all guests.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving processes
- Manage and train staff in food handling, customer service, and safety protocols
- Oversee food safety compliance and ensure adherence to health regulations
- Handle cash transactions using Micros POS systems and manage cash handling procedures
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members to build a competent workforce
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and kitchen safety are maintained
- Lead team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and provide ongoing coaching
- Address customer concerns promptly to uphold excellent service standards
- Implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership with supervising experience
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for cash handling and order processing
- Excellent team management and leadership abilities with experience in interviewing and training staff
- Background in hospitality or hotel industry is a plus; barista or kitchen experience is advantageous
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food handling and safety procedures
- Effective communication skills for team coordination and customer interaction
