As a Banquet Lead, you will be instrumental in delivering seamless, high-quality events, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable occasion. Key Responsibilities:

Lead banquet staff onsite by delegating tasks, assigning sections, and ensuring clear accountability before, during, and after each event.

Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of event execution, ensuring accuracy in room set-ups, timing, service flow, and adherence to event orders and floorplans.

Conduct pre-shift meetings prior to each event to review timelines, service expectations, floorplans, and team assignments.

Take a creative and proactive approach to event setups—particularly weddings and seasonal activations—by contributing design ideas and enhancing the overall guest experience.

Ensure that excellent levels of service are being delivered to event guests during service.

Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork.

Assist in the set up and tear down of all events, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and decorations, and setting up audiovisual equipment, lighting, and other technical components as needed.

Assist with food service and bartending during all weddings, events, and meetings when needed.

Maintain an onsite presence during all meetings, events, and weddings.

Act as Supervisor in the absence of the Events Coordinator during events.

Oversee that established quality standards for timely delivery and presentation are exceeded.

Bring any customer concerns/suggestions to the attention of management.

Provide attentive and courteous service to guests, responding promptly to their requests and inquiries.

Ensure all safety regulations are implemented and followed.
Requirements & Qualifications:

College or University diploma/degree in Hospitality, Events Management, or a related program.

SmartServe certified.
-
Proven bartending and serving experience.
-
Previous experience working with events and banquets.
-
Reliable transportation is essential.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.

Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
-
A positive and team-oriented attitude.

Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong initiative.

Ability to multi-task effectively in a dynamic environment.

Passionate and productive leadership skills.

Meticulous attention to detail.

Strong organizational, supervisory, and communication skills.

Ability to move furniture unassisted and lift 25+ lbs.

Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.

Secondary School completion.
-
Proficiency in English.
-
Safe Food Handling certification (preferred).
