The Opportunity
This is a hands-on, full-time seasonal position for a reliable, self-motivated landscape professional with hands-on experience driving large vehicles and a working knowledge of plants and horticultural practices.
You'll work in some of Toronto's most established neighbourhoods as part of a skilled field team delivering personalized service to existing and new residential clients. This role involves physical outdoor work, problem-solving, and close coordination with supervisors and crews to keep materials and equipment moving across active sites.

What You’ll Do:
- Complete scheduled and unscheduled pickups and deliveries of soft and hardscape materials between suppliers and client properties
- Load, secure, and unload materials including soil, mulch, stone, and live plant stock with special attention to protecting trees and specimens in transit
- Operate company vehicles (including small cranes and air-brake-equipped trucks) and loading equipment such as skid steers, pallet jacks, and dump trailers
- Conduct pre-trip inspections, secure loads properly, and report mechanical or safety issues promptly
- Coordinate routes and ETAs with dispatch and crews to keep job sites supplied and on schedule
- Represent the company professionally at nurseries, stone yards, and supplier pickups, handling POs and paperwork accurately
- Accurately log all stop and deliveries with relevant details and relay information to appropriate parties
What You Bring:
- Strong work ethic and pride in quality craftsmanship
- Personable, presentable, and comfortable interacting with clients and suppliers on-site
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to follow direction while working independently when required
- Flexibility to work long days starting at 6:45 a.m. Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work in spring and fall
- Comfortable with the physical demands of loading, unloading, and outdoor work in varying weather
Technical Skills & Experience
- Valid G driver's license with a clean record and confidence driving large vehicles in Toronto
- Hands-on experience operating motorized landscaping equipment and loading machinery
- Working knowledge of plants and the ability to identify and handle them with care
- WHMIS certification
- General landscape maintenance knowledge
