We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to lead and strengthen our organization's security posture while helping establish and manage the secure adoption of Artificial Intelligence technologies.
Purpose of the Role
This role will be responsible for cybersecurity operations, governance, risk management, compliance, and AI security and governance. The successful candidate will work closely with IT, business leaders, and stakeholders to ensure AI solutions are implemented securely, responsibly, and in accordance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
Core Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain the organization's cybersecurity strategy, policies, and standards.
· Lead security risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response activities.
· Implement and manage security controls across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
· Develop and maintain AI governance policies, standards, and procedures.
· Evaluate and approve AI tools and platforms from a security, privacy, and compliance perspective.
· Conduct security reviews and risk assessments for AI solutions and third-party vendors.
· Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, SOC 2, etc.).
· Lead security awareness and AI awareness initiatives across the organization.
· Collaborate with infrastructure, application, legal, privacy, and business teams on security and AI initiatives.
· Monitor emerging cybersecurity and AI threats and recommend appropriate controls.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
· Experience developing cybersecurity governance, policies, and security frameworks.
· Hands-on experience with Microsoft security technologies (Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, Intune, etc.).
· Strong understanding of cloud security (Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365).
· Experience with AI governance, AI risk management, or secure deployment of Generative AI solutions.
· Knowledge of AI-related security risks, data protection, and responsible AI practices.
· Experience performing security assessments and vendor risk reviews.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to present security recommendations to technical and executive audiences.
Preferred Certifications:
CISSP, CISM, or CRISC
Microsoft Security Certifications (SC-200, SC-300, SC-100, AZ-500)
AI Governance or AI Security certifications are considered an asset.
Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
