Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and versatile Café All Rounder to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, assisting with food and beverage preparation, and ensuring smooth daily operations in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently with cash handling skills
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages as a barista, including coffee and tea, maintaining quality standards
- Assist with food preparation and food service, ensuring adherence to food safety and handling protocols
- Serve customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service at all times
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks such as cashiering, serving, and food prep during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
- Support team members in daily operations to ensure a seamless customer experience
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, especially in café or coffee shop environments
- Barista experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
