General Job Description:
Program Facilitators (PFs) are responsible for working directly with Clients and executing
programming set in place by their managers. Position may require heavy lifting, and/or physical labor.
Duties Include:
1. Executing programming.
a.PFs are expected to follow instructions given by their managers regarding
daily programming.
b.PF will be expected to contribute to programming
2. Caring for Clients.
a.Clients of Eric’s House may be Mentally and or Physically disabled and
require staff intervention for their basic needs including eating, toileting,
personal hygiene, etc.
b.Staff of Eric’s House are expected to facilitate activities stated above in
2.a.; the dignity of the Clients should always remain top priority.
Qualifications:
We are looking for individuals that are enrolled in, or have completed a diploma or
degree in Disability and/or Child Care Studies. We also would consider taking into
account years of experience in this particular field of work, with addition of having a high
school diploma. Relevant experience is a must.
Certifications:
Current and updated CPR and First Aid are required.
Crisis Intervention Training is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
