Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Cashier to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages following established recipes and standards.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with precision.
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food handling and food safety practices.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Restock supplies as needed and assist in food preparation tasks when required.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner to create a positive experience that encourages repeat business.
Skills
- Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and courteously.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail in food preparation and safety standards.
- Experience with food handling, serving, and food safety regulations is desirable.
- Ability to work well within a team environment in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: $16.90-$22.00 per hour
