GATE OPERATOR INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities & Requirements:
· Strong personal skills with a willingness to learn new things and pass on knowledge to grow the department.
· Must be familiar with Liftmaster Gate or overhead operators and have worked on various gate operator/ overhead units Liftmaster Stanley, Linear etc.)
· In depth electrical knowledge including primary power and low voltage contacts and circuits
· Competent, trustworthy, ambitious, punctual, ability to train team members and or work alone and professional
· Mechanical background, ability to weld, operate smaller equipment (mini trencher, occasionally skid steer, Loop cutter ) and variouys hand tools, complete minor civil work
· Coordination and hands-on involvement of day to day activities with Job coordinator and other technicians on a daily basis
· Continuously develop a work plan to meet schedule and productivity targets
· Empowered to make proactive decisions related to project execution and field level problem resolution ( superior troubleshooting skills)
· Provide improvement feedback to gate operator coordinator / senior management on productivity, quality, safety
· Prepare daily work progress reports
· Direct / work alongside third-party contractors
· Interface and liaison with customer representatives
· Provide training in, and adherence to, Phoenix and customer safety programs & procedures
· Approximately 44-50 hours a week, able to work out of town
· Require valid driver’s license, clean drivers record, clean criminal record, consistent Drug & Alcohol testing in accordance with policies
· Out of town monetary incentives
· CET designation at minimum
· Service truck and tools provided
Compensation for qualified candidates include a health benefits package, competitive wage based on experience, relocation allowance and potential for additional bonus structure based upon department growth.
Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
