Job description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver at KB Fabrics LTD. located in Surrey, BC. As a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver you will be responsible for receiving, and organizing incoming shipments. You will also be responsible for picking, preparing, and packing orders accurately, preparing packages for shipment, and maintaining inventory accuracy. This role requires attention to detail, and the ability to lift heavy packages.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good time management
- Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job including standing, lifting to 70 lbs., twisting, bending, and reaching.
- Previous experience in a shipping/receiving role preferred but not required
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
- Experience with order processing and shipping preferred but not required.
- A valid driver's license is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments
- Unpack, label, and organize products in the warehouse
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare packages for shipment, including proper packaging and labeling
- Utilize basic math skills to verify quantities and measurements
- General cleaning
Hours and Benefits
- Monday to Friday 8:00 – 3:30 PM
- Weekends off
- Stat holidays off with pay
Upon successful completion of 3 month probation period you will receive:

Salary:
- Salary: $24.00/hour
- Pay increase upon successful completion of probationary period.
- Additional pay increase upon performance review at 6 months, and 1 year.
