Job Overview
Expeditor's Plus provides critical logistics and transportation for Manitoba’s premier northern lodges. We are seeking a Fleet and Expeditor Coordinator to serve as the essential link between city operations and our remote lodges.
Reporting directly to the company President/Owner, you will own the "Master Schedule." This is a high-responsibility role that blends organized office coordination with hands-on field tasks. You are the central point for dispatch, fleet safety, and procurement, ensuring every guest departure and supply shipment is handled professionally, on time, and within budget.
What You’ll Do
- Dispatch & Weekly Planning: Own the development of the weekly master schedule; coordinate guest pickups, supply runs, and flight departures. Act as the primary problem-solver for real-time logistical challenges.
- Fleet Management & Safety: Execute weekly fleet audits and "deep dive" maintenance reviews. Act as the primary contact for on-road support and ensure all vehicle data is accurately monitored.
- Guest Services & Flight Prep: Provide "meet and greet" services for premium guests; manage luggage tagging, verify flight manifests, and calculate aircraft load balances with 100% accuracy.
- Purchasing & Inventory: Act as a "personal shopper" for lodge supplies; manage digital inventory logs and ensure all priority orders are verified and weighed before shipping.
- Secure Administration: Handle lodge mail and essential banking tasks as a bonded representative; maintain organized records of all receipts and manifests for ownership.
Requirements
- License: Valid Manitoba Driver’s License (Class 4 is a strong asset) and a clean driving record (Required).
- Certs: Basic First Aid or other safety certifications are assets.
- Physical: Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs (luggage and supply boxes).
- Schedule: Available June–September, including 4:00 AM starts, weekends, and holidays.
- Background: Must be bondable and pass a Criminal Record Check.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple moving parts, coordinate schedules, and lead safety protocols.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong math skills (for weight/balance calculations) and comfort with Google Workspace and Fleet Management Systems.
- Local Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Winnipeg routes and regional airbases (St. Andrews, Lac du Bonnet).
Why Join Us?
