Position Purpose
The Website, Brand, Creative & Video Lead is the creative production owner for the Hive Armor brand.
This role is responsible for taking approved company messaging, research, product positioning and content direction and turning it into exceptional customer-facing creative assets.
The successful candidate combines strong design instincts with hands-on technical ability. They should be equally comfortable improving a website page, developing a trade-show display, filming a beekeeper in the field, editing a technical interview, or creating a polished sales asset.
This is primarily an execution and production role. The position works closely with the Research & Client Content Lead, who owns research synthesis, white papers, client assets, content architecture and the information structure and flow of the website.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Brand Ownership & Creative Standards
- Own the visual expression of the Hive Armor brand across all customer-facing channels.
- Maintain and continually improve brand standards.
- Ensure consistent use of logos, typography, imagery, layouts, templates and visual identity.
- Build a recognizable visual identity appropriate for a science-based company serving commercial agriculture.
- Maintain consistency across Hive Armor's U.S. and Canadian businesses.
- Protect the professional credibility of the brand as the company scales internationally.
2. Website Creative & Production
- Build and maintain website pages based on the approved website structure and content strategy.
- Own visual layout, responsive design and presentation.
- Implement new landing pages, campaign pages, product pages and educational resources.
- Ensure excellent performance across desktop and mobile.
- Maintain website imagery, graphics, video and downloadable resources.
- Work with the Research & Client Content Lead to translate website architecture and written content into a clear, compelling digital experience.
- Continuously improve usability and visual quality.
Important division of responsibility: This role owns how the website looks and is produced. The Research & Client Content Lead owns what information belongs on the website, how it is organized, and the customer journey through that information.
3. Video Production & Editing
Own the complete production workflow for Hive Armor video content, including:
- Field filming
- Customer interviews and testimonials
- Researcher interviews
- Educational videos
- Product demonstrations
- Facility and manufacturing footage
- Conference and trade-show footage
- Short-form digital content
- Webinar production
- Sales-support videos
Responsibilities include planning shoots, camera operation, lighting, sound, editing, graphics, titles, captions, music selection and final production.
The goal is to build an increasingly valuable library of authentic Hive Armor footage rather than relying heavily on generic stock material.
4. Graphic Design & Creative Production
Produce professional:
- Product brochures
- Technical sheets
- Sales collateral
- Conference materials
- Trade-show displays
- Presentations
- Advertisements
- Infographics
- Email graphics
- Social media assets
- Product packaging artwork
- Signage
- Customer education materials
Take approved technical or research material and make it clear, attractive and understandable without diminishing its scientific credibility.
5. Photography & Digital Asset Library
- Capture professional product, field, customer, team and manufacturing photography.
- Establish and maintain a structured company photo and video library.
- Properly catalogue footage so historical assets remain usable.
- Maintain appropriate permissions/releases for customer and employee imagery.
- Ensure the organization retains editable source files for major creative assets.
6. Creative Support for Sales
Work closely with sales leadership to rapidly produce the materials required to move opportunities forward.
This includes:
- Customer-specific presentations
- Product comparisons
- Conference materials
- Visual case studies
- Digital follow-up assets
- Sales presentations
- Campaign graphics
- Product-launch materials
Creative work should ultimately support customer confidence, sales conversion and retention, not simply generate attractive content.
7. Creative Project Management
- Maintain a visible creative production pipeline.
- Prioritize projects against company Rocks and commercial priorities.
- Establish realistic deadlines and meet them.
- Manage outside designers, photographers, printers, developers or production contractors where appropriate.
- Maintain organized source files and version control.
- Avoid unnecessary agency dependence by building strong internal capability.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on creator rather than simply a creative director.
They will ideally have experience in several of the following:
- Graphic design
- Website production
- UX/UI
- Video production
- Video editing
- Photography
- Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent professional tools
- Content management systems
- Digital marketing
- Agricultural, scientific, industrial or B2B communications
They must be capable of moving quickly without allowing speed to compromise quality.

Pay: $35,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
