Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Subway Sandwich Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing fresh sandwiches, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to Subway standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Greet customers promptly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently with strong time management skills to serve customers quickly during busy hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Handle food with proper hygiene practices, including food handling and safety procedures.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Restock supplies as needed and ensure the restaurant remains organized and inviting.
- Follow all health regulations related to food industry standards and sanitation protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food preparation, food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods.
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Restaurant or food industry experience is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm for serving customers is key.
