Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 2 or 3 Early Childhood Educator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs, and fostering a love for learning. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through engaging activities
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members regarding progress and needs
- Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan classroom activities and school events
- Utilize computer skills for documentation, communication, and educational resources management
- Manage classroom behavior with patience and leadership while promoting positive interactions among children
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in an early childhood or classroom setting is essential
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development best practices
- Strong communication skills—verbal and written—are necessary for effective collaboration with families and team members
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities, documentation, and time effectively
- Computer literacy including basic operation of educational software and recordkeeping tools
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to guide children positively and professionally
- Ability to work well within a team environment while maintaining flexibility in daily routines
- Valid credentials or certifications related to childcare or early childhood education are preferred but not mandatory depending on experience level
Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
