Job Overview
We are seeking several reliable and professional Taxi Drivers to provide safe, efficient, and courteous transportation services to our customers. The ideal candidates will have excellent driving skills, a strong focus on customer satisfaction, and the ability to manage time effectively.
Duties
- Safely operate a taxi to transport passengers to various destinations within designated areas
- Greet passengers warmly and assist with groceries, luggage handling as needed
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle to ensure passenger comfort and safety
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations
- Manage cash and debit transactions accurately, including fare collection and providing change when necessary
- Communicate effectively with dispatch for route updates or customer requests
- Ensure timely pickups and drop-offs while managing multiple trips throughout the shift
Qualifications
- Valid Class 4 driver’s license with a clean driving record, clean child abuse registry check
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously with diverse passengers
- Excellent time management skills to adhere to schedules and optimize routes
- Ability to handle cash and debit transactions accurately and responsibly
- Knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and traffic patterns is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, overnights, weekends or holidays as needed as this is a 24 hour service.
