IT Support Specialist

We are currently seeking a motivated and technically skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team.
Position Overview
This role is ideal for someone with strong technical troubleshooting skills, hands-on IT experience, and a desire to grow within the organization. You will provide day-to-day support to users across multiple locations while helping maintain and improve IMG’s IT systems and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support in person, by phone, email, and remote support tools
- Support users across a multi-site client/server and VPN environment
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot:
- Desktop and laptop systems
- Printers and mobile devices
- Routers, switches, modems, and Wi-Fi access points
- TCP/IP and VPN connectivity
- Maintain hardware and software inventory records
- Administer and document:
- User access and security permissions
- Software licensing
- Hardware inventory
- Assist with system security, backup, and data recovery procedures
- Configure and support Android and iPhone devices
- Create and maintain IT documentation, procedures, and policies
- Support onboarding of new employees, including workstation setup and orientation
- Escalate complex issues when appropriate
- Assist with infrastructure and network projects, including:
- Cable runs
- Mounting network cabinets and A/V equipment
- Access point, camera, and NVR installations
Qualifications & Skills
Required
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
- Experience supporting workstations, computer hardware, and peripherals
- Knowledge of:
- Microsoft operating systems
- Microsoft 365 and Teams
- Network fundamentals and administration
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Professionalism and a high level of confidentiality
Preferred / Assets
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting routers and switches
- Basic SQL and database knowledge
- Experience working in an MRP/MSP environment
- Experience supporting manufacturing or multi-site environments
- Certifications such as:
- CompTIA A+
- Network+
- Microsoft certifications
Schedule & Work Environment
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required
- Support provided across three nearby Mississauga locations
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required (mileage reimbursed)

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
