Job Title: Formwork Carpenter
Location: St. Albert, AB
Schedule: Full Time
Our client is seeking experienced Formwork Carpenters to support concrete construction projects across Alberta. The successful candidate will bring strong experience in formwork, structural concrete, and industrial/commercial construction environments.
What's the Job?
- Perform formwork layout, assembly, installation, and stripping for flatwork and structural concrete applications.
- Set forms accurately to elevation and alignment based on drawings and field instructions.
- Assist with rebar installation, anchor bolt placement, and pre-pour preparations.
- Work safely on active industrial, commercial, and civil construction sites.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas while following site safety requirements.
- Collaborate with field crews to complete projects efficiently and meet quality standards.
What's Needed?
- Journeyman Carpenter Certification or equivalent field experience.
- Minimum 5 years of concrete formwork experience.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Experience working on commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Ability to obtain and maintain industrial site access requirements, including applicable safety tickets and drug and alcohol testing.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Additional Assets
- Experience with engineered forming systems such as Doka or Peri.
- Industrial or energy sector construction experience.
