Responsibilities:
- Finish and texture concrete surfaces of curbs and sidewalks using hand tools and power equipment
- Utilize tools such as trowels, edgers, and brushes to achieve desired surface finishes
- Collaborate closely with the construction team to ensure proper layout and alignment of curbs and sidewalks
- Perform surface repairs and apply sealants or coatings as necessary
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures during all phases of work
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a concrete curb and sidewalk finisher or a similar role in the construction industry
- Proficiency in finishing and texturing concrete surfaces for curbs and sidewalks
- Ability to work with hand tools and power equipment effectively
- Understanding of construction plans and specifications related to curb and sidewalk work
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physical capability to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, and working at varying heights

You must have your own transportation to and from work. Work is in the greater Edmonton area, with some occasional out of town work required.
