About the Position
We are looking for motivated and reliable General Labourers to join our commercial tilt-up concrete construction team. This role involves assisting with the construction of large commercial, industrial, and warehouse buildings through all stages of the tilt-up process, including site preparation, formwork, concrete placement, panel casting, and panel erection support.
This is a physically demanding position suited to individuals who enjoy working outdoors and being part of a fast-paced construction environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and removal of concrete forms.
- Help place and finish concrete slabs and wall panels.
- Install and remove formwork, embeds, and bracing components.
- Assist with panel erection activities under supervision.
- Load, unload, and move materials around the site.
- Operate hand and power tools safely.
- Perform site cleanup and maintain an organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and site-specific requirements.
- Assist carpenters, equipment operators, and supervisors as required.
Qualifications
- Previous construction experience preferred.
- Concrete, formwork, or commercial construction experience is an asset.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, bending, and working on your feet for extended periods.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to project sites.
