Camp Abilities at LDEdmonton is looking for a camp facilitator assistant working in a 1:4 ratio with children and teens with ADHD and/or Learning Disabilities and related diagnoses. Our ideal candidates must have experience working with children and teens with Learning Disabilities, Autism, ADHD, special needs and other challenges.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children and teens with Learning Disabilities, Autism, ADHD, special needs and other challenges. Experience with complex behaviors is an asset.
- Good health, enthusiasm, and willingness to actively participate in activities
- 1-2 years’ experience in related field.
- Knowledge of behavioral management strategies preferred
- Strong organization skills and ability to be flexible and adaptive
- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating as part of a team.
