Now Hiring: Experienced Pipelayer
Tkemlúps Contracting is looking for an experienced Pipelayer to join our growing team.
Tkemlúps Contracting is part of Sc.wénwen, the Business Group of Tkemlúps te Secwépemc, and specializes in civil, industrial, and utilities construction, based out of Kamloops, British Columbia.

Responsibilities
- Install water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer pipe according to project specifications and grade.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and grade stakes.
- Assist with trench preparation, bedding, backfilling, and compaction.
- Work safely around heavy equipment and coordinate with equipment operators to complete installations efficiently.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and project requirements.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a pipelayer in civil construction.
- Knowledge of underground utility installation practices and procedures.
- Ability to read plans, grades, and laser levels is considered an asset.
- Experience working safely in and around excavations.
- Experience working with HDPE and PVC installations.
- Ground disturbance training considered an asset.
- First Aid training considered an asset.
- Fusing ticket or experience considered an asset.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions.
