Formatop is looking to add dedicated and hardworking Production Labourer's to our Countertop and Panel Manufacturing divisions. Our Production Labourers are responsible for performing a variety of tasks and working in different positions on our production lines. Previous manufacturing experience is an asset, however Formatop will train all new hires to help develop their skill to help make them successful!
Shift: Monday to Friday - Straight day shift
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working in a variety of positions on our production lines
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform heavy repetitive lifting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Inspect tops to ensure quality and consistency as per internal standards
- Machine set up and changeover based on product group being produced
- Regularly works in conditions that include heat and humidity, and exposure to dust
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous manufacturing and General Labour experience an asset
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Ability to work independently and within a team to complete daily activities according to work schedule
- Strong attention to detail
- Must have basic math skills and the ability to read and understand imperial measurements
- An attitude that is hardworking and willing to learn
- Good verbal communication skills
- Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
