Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using our Square POS system.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation and quality standards are met.
- Provide attentive service throughout each guest's dining experience.
- Handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately.
- Recommend menu items and upsell specials to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, tables, service stations, beverage areas and washrooms.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Assist with opening, closing, and side duties as assigned.
- Support fellow team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
- Address guest concerns professionally and help create a positive dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous serving or restaurant experience is an asset but not required—we are happy to train the right candidate.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy service periods.
- Basic math skills and confidence handling cash transactions.
- Familiarity with Square POS or other point-of-sale systems is an asset.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is an advantage.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
