Part Time Out of School Care Program (SPLIT SHIFT)
Qualification Required
- ECE License an asset
- Responsible Adult certification required
- First Aid and CPR required
Required Experience
- Experience working with school age children
- Provide a safe, nurturing and welcoming environment
- Provide engaging activities and experiences for school age children
- Committed to providing quality childcare experiences for children and families
- Strong communication skills verbally and written
- Willingness to collaborate with teammates, is flexible and adaptable
- Able to plan and participate in daily program activities such as field trips and walks
- Able to maintain confidentially of families, children and staff
- Committed to continual professional development
- Able to multi task (supervise the room as well as play with the children)
- Able to be away from cell phone
We are seeking an energetic, hard working, and highly motivated team player with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Our team is committed to excellence in all aspects of child care. This is a split shift 7:30-9am/ 2:30-5:30pm. (Possible longer hours during Spring, Winter, Summer and ProD days)
This position is a wonderful opportunity for individuals that are interested in working with school aged children.
