Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Butcher to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Perform precise meat cutting and trimming according to product specifications
- Operate and maintain meat processing equipment safely and efficiently
- Package finished products accurately for distribution and sale
- Ensure all products meet food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Assist with food processing tasks, including portioning and preparing meat cuts
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment in compliance with sanitation regulations
- Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Support manufacturing processes by adhering to production schedules and quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in butchery, meat cutting, or food processing preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating meat processing machinery is a plus
- Strong understanding of packaging techniques within a manufacturing setting
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent sanitation habits and commitment to cleanliness
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks
- Prior experience in the food industry or manufacturing is advantageous but not mandatory
