About us:
Santa's Little Helper's is a professional Christmas Light Installation Company that provides services in Great Vancouver. We install custom Christmas Lights on beautiful residential homes and commercial properties. We are now hiring 3-4 Christmas Light Installers to join our amazing team for this upcoming season. At least 3 months of experience working with ladders and/or working on roofs is preferred, but not required.
Job responsibilities:
-To work as part of a 2 person crew to install Christmas Lights on residential homes across greater Vancouver.
-To be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
-To lift and climb ladders up to 32'
-To work from residential rooftops to install light
-To interact with clients in a polite and pleasant manner.
-To be reliable and to communicate well with managers and team members
Job details:
-Work is Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
-Start date will be October 1, 2026
-Comprehensive training will be provided
-Pay is by the job (not by the hour). Our best 1st year installers make $25-$30/hour. Our best 2nd year installers make $40+/hour.
-Our season for Christmas lights install and take-down is from Oct 3 - Jan 31. We transition into exterior cleaning (pressure washing, roof cleaning, window cleaning etc) for the rest of the year. This is meant to be a year round position, but applicants who can only work for the fall/winter will also be considered.
Looking for applicants who:
-Are hard-working, and physically fit (we love hiring athletes).
-Have experience working with ladders and at heights.
-Have a positive attitude, and want to enjoy their work.
-Clean cut, presentable, and trustworthy.
-Have great attention to detail.
-Are self-motivated.
-Have a valid BC driver's license and their own vehicle
-Live in Surrey or Langley (preferred) or in Burnaby, Coquitlam or New West near Highway 1.

Other Notes:
-Previous experience with exterior painting, roofing, gutter cleaning, construction, or other similar work is a huge asset.
