KPLEX is a Toronto-based residential housing provider focused on delivering multiplex rental housing — one of the fastest-growing and most dynamic segments of the city’s housing market. Our portfolio currently includes 50 residential units across both long-term and short-term rentals and is projected to grow to over 200 units within the next two years.
We are building a lean, high-performance team and are seeking a Residential Property Manager to lead day-to-day operations, tenant experience, and leasing activities across our growing portfolio.

Responsibilities: Tenant & Guest Experience
Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants and guests across phone, email, text, and online platforms
Respond promptly and professionally to tenant inquiries, maintenance requests, concerns, and complaints
Build strong tenant relationships and deliver a positive resident experience
Handle conflict resolution and difficult situations with professionalism and empathy
Support tenant onboarding, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals
Coordinate guest communication for short-term rentals, including check-in, check-out, and stay support
Ensure a high standard of customer service across all properties
Property Operations
Coordinate maintenance requests and work closely with contractors, vendors, and service providers
Schedule repairs, inspections, cleaning services, and unit turnovers
Conduct move-in and move-out inspections and document property conditions
Monitor property conditions and proactively identify issues requiring attention
Ensure vacant units are prepared and ready for occupancy
Assist with after-hours emergencies and urgent tenant situations when required
Conduct regular property visits to ensure quality standards are maintained
Leasing & Resident Support
Respond to leasing inquiries and schedule property showings
Assist prospective tenants throughout the application and leasing process
Support marketing and advertising efforts for vacant units
Help maintain occupancy across the portfolio through proactive leasing activities
Follow established tenant screening procedures and approval processes
Prepare lease documentation and coordinate lease signings
Administration & Team Support
Maintain organized tenant records, lease files, and property documentation
Track service requests and ensure timely follow-up and resolution
Maintain accurate records of tenant communications and property activity
Collaborate with internal team members to improve operational efficiency and resident satisfaction
Assist with implementing systems, processes, and best practices as the portfolio continues to grow
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in property management, customer service, hospitality, leasing, operations, or a related field
Strong customer service mindset and ability to build positive relationships
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable coordinating maintenance requests, vendors, and contractors
Experience with Airbnb, short-term rentals, CRM systems, or property management software is considered an asset
Familiarity with Ontario landlord-tenant practices is an asset
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel between properties
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $50,000 – $70,000 (commensurate with experience)
