Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Consulting Family Physician and/or Specialist to join our team in a virtual capacity. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver comprehensive advice and teaching to front line health providers in primary care and other community roles. This position utilizes advanced EMR and telehealth technology to connect with providers across diverse settings. As a key member of our healthcare network, your expert medical advice will assist in managing acute and chronic conditions while supporting patient-centered care initiatives. Your expertise will help improve health outcomes while offering flexible, innovative healthcare solutions for a broad patient population.
Duties
- Assess symptoms and medical histories to assist in diagnose and developing treatment plans with referring provider
- Answer referrals in a timely fashion with reporting back
- Utilize AI technology to coordinate and manage patient advice
- Ensure accurate documentation using EMR system
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid licensure to freely practice medicine in Alberta without the need for sponsorship or support with work-permits.
- Ability to work independently in a virtual environment while maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality
