Dental Assistant – Immediate Opening
Derek Haruta Dentistry is looking for a motivated and reliable dental assistant to join our team in St. Thomas.
We have a new dentist joining our office and are currently looking for a candidate to work Wednesdays and Thursdays, with the intention of adding more days in the future as the schedule grows.
This position is available immediately for certain days on Fridays.
We are open to hiring:
- Experienced dental assistants
- New graduates
- Motivated individuals interested in being trained to a Level 1 Dental Assistant position
The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, eager to learn, and enjoys working in a busy, patient-focused dental office. Training will be provided for the right person.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting the dentist during dental procedures
- Preparing and cleaning treatment rooms
- Sterilization and infection control procedures
- Taking radiographs, if qualified
- Supporting patient comfort and care
- Helping with general clinical flow throughout the day
Position details:
- Days: Wednesday and Thursday
- Start date: Immediate
- Future opportunity for additional days
- Training available for suitable candidates to assist them becoming certified
