RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and oversee the purchasing department
- Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
- Ordering of materials and equipment
- Oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods
- Negotiate purchasing contracts
- Keep in contact with suppliers to confirm and follow up on orders
- Work with our purchasing team to ensure inventory is meeting growing customer demands for the market
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPECTATIONS
- 3-5 years’ experience in a Purchasing Management Role
- Previous purchasing experience is required
- Previous automotive experience is required
- Strong leadership and people management abilities
- Ability to produce results independently while maintaining a positive team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure with multiple projects and timelines
- Travel required to London and GTA Dealerships
