About the Role
Gia Foods is seeking a results-driven inventory admin to lead procurement efforts and manage key supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, process, and track purchase orders, ensuring the timely delivery of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging supplies to meet production schedules.
- Monitor stock levels, analyze sales trends, and collaborate with production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing waste and shortages.
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors, handling incoming calls/emails, and directing inquiries to the appropriate teams to ensure a professional and efficient first point of contact.
- Provide general administrative support to leadership and cross-functional teams, stepping in where needed to manage ad hoc requests and operational priorities.
Qualifications
- 2-3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, office admin or supply chain management, preferably in the food industry.
- Experience with inventory management systems is an asset
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills (written and verbal).
- Experience with MS suite (word, excel, ppt etc) and any other ERP system is an ASSET.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.25-$19.25 per hour
