Reporting to: Manager, Food Services
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm shifts; flexible hours available
Start Date: As soon as possible
Hourly Rate: $17.95/hour

POSITION SUMMARY:
Applications are being accepted for positions as a Student – Cashier for the CMCC cafeteria. This role will perform general storefront maintenance duties as well as replenishment of all inventories.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide a friendly and welcome demeanor as customers enter the cafeteria kitchen or approach the checkout.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle payments.

Maintain a clean and organized storefront for efficient operations.

Restock refrigerator as necessary.

Restock inventory of candy, snacks, and baked goods as necessary.

Ensure coffee station is properly stocked of all essentials and functional.

Perform other duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

Current CMCC student.

Must be available to work at least 1 full day shift (8-4pm) per week.

Prior storefront experience an asset.

Steel-toed shoes required.

Understanding and adherence to established health and safety protocols at CMCC.

May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness and availability to work posted shifts.
