Students will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in a professional
education environment while supporting different areas of our day-to-day
operations.
Responsibilities
Depending on the student's program, experience, and assigned area, responsibilities may include:
Supporting general business and administrative operations
Assisting with student services and administrative processes
Organizing records, files, and documentation
Supporting finance and accounting administration
Assisting with invoices, payments, spreadsheets, and reporting
Supporting CRM and database management
Assisting with admissions and enrollment administration
Supporting compliance documentation and record management
Assisting with education and program administration
Supporting healthcare program administration and placement coordination
Preparing reports, correspondence, and internal documents
Supporting scheduling and operational coordination
Assisting with marketing and outreach activities
Conducting research and organizing information
Supporting business analytics and reporting
Assisting with digital systems, CRM platforms, and workflow automation
Supporting internal projects and process improvements

Opportunities are intended for students completing an eligible academic co-op, practicum, internship, or work-integrated learning placement that is recognized or approved by their educational institution. Where required, Toronto Academy of Education can work with the student's college or university regarding placement documentation, learning objectives, supervision, evaluations, and required hours.
Qualifications
We welcome applications from students who:
Are currently enrolled in a college or university program
Are seeking co-op, internship, practicum, or work-integrated learning
experience
Have strong organizational and communication skills
Are comfortable using computers, spreadsheets, and digital systems
Have good attention to detail
Are willing to learn new systems and processes
Can maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Can work independently and collaboratively
Previous professional experience is not required.
