Duties
- Morning shift at 6 AM, baking all bake goods to set up for the opening shift.
- Prepare various food items according to recipes and standards, such as sandwiches, and toast.
- Package finished products for sale, ensuring quality and presentation are maintained
- Assist in food production processes, including baking, cooking, and food handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area to adhere to food safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines related to food handling
Requirements
- Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry preparation
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Previous experience in the food industry or culinary settings is preferred
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality presentation
