Full-time Educational Assistant (Grades 7-12)

J.T. Foster is a 7-12 school with approximately 200 students, located in Nanton, Alberta. We are seeking a Full-Time Education Assistant to support a variety of learners within our school community.
The position would start on August 25th, 2026 and conclude on June 29th, 2027.
The successful candidate;

Builds strong rapport with students and creates a safe and caring learning environment;
- Works collaboratively as part of a supportive team of professionals;

Has experience working in the classroom, in small group settings, and in one on one situations;

Has experience with social emotional learning;

Understands diverse learning needs (e.g., ADHD, autism, learning disabilities)

Has the ability to work with students facing mental health needs.
Additionally, SIVA and First Aid training is an asset.
