OVERVIEW:
Responsible for the front line communication with guests providing customer service
that meets or exceeds corporate standards. To ensure proper service to the participants through knowledge of formal dining room standards. Provide an enjoyable experience for the guests adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.
JOB FUNCTION:
Report to work in full uniform as described in the employee handbook.
Perform job duties in a consistent manner with the policy and procedures manual and employee handbook.
To provide quality service for banquet dining room guests through proper techniques, knowledge and appearance.
Perform all side work assignments ensuring proper preparation, completion and
presentation.
Set up all tables and dining stations
Maintain cleanliness and appearance of all dining room equipment, ensuring the up
keep of quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
Assure proper storage of equipment used during service.
Assist other staff as needed.
Communicate effectively with fellow staff (front of the house and back of the house), managers and supervisors to ensure that the highest level of service is given to the
client and guests.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be experienced in dealing with customers efficiently and politely. Knowledge of
formal service standards a plus. Some experience with cash handling/credit card billing helpful.
