Position Summary:
This position requires a highly skilled and personable technician to deliver the bb Blanc magic to our clients. This is an ideal role for an individual with a passion for event technology and a high level of customer service, looking to join a growing company in either a full-time or part-time capacity.
This is an excellent opportunity for those who want to further develop their skills through on-the-job learning and formal training, with an interest in long-term career progression.
This position requires availability during evenings and weekends, particularly throughout peak summer months.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Arrive on time and prepared for all scheduled shifts

Maintain the highest level of professionalism and customer service with clients, venue partners, and vendors

Accurately set up, dismantle, and efficiently operate audiovisual equipment including lighting, projectors, computers, audio systems, and special effects

Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and software issues

Ensure proper security, storage, transportation, and maintenance of equipment

Complete all required documentation and reports

Respond to and confirm receipt of all event-related communications and instructions

Perform other duties as assigned by the Social Operations Manager
Qualifications and Requirements:

Self-motivated with excellent customer service skills and ability to interact effectively with others

Experience in a similar or relevant role considered an asset

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational and time-management abilities

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

Working at Heights and Scissor Lift License considered an asset

Professional appearance in accordance with company dress code

Strong technical knowledge of audio, video, projection, computer, and lighting equipment (LightJockey experience an asset)

Ability to work well under pressure with multiple stakeholders

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs

Steel-toe shoes/boots required

Valid G Driver’s License with access to a vehicle and ability to travel within the GTA

Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)

Availability for flexible hours including long shifts (12–16 hours) and late nights (1am–5am)
