We are an established high rise construction company seeking a General Labourer for our yard in Stouffville.
Job Description and Requirements
· Must have the ability to perform physically challenging work
· Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Load and unload trucks
· Pack orders
· Upkeep of yard maintenance
· Work is performed mostly outdoors all year round. Minimal work indoors
· Able to withstand walking and standing approximately 9 hours per day
· Ability to complete tasks according to timelines
· Able to take direction from colleagues and manager
· Grade 12 education
· Excellent verbal communication skills
· Good organization skills
· Responsible
· Valid G Driver's license is a must with a clean abstract
. Must have transportation to and from yard
· Hours are 6:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday
· Must be available to work overtime hours on weekdays and weekends when required
· Must comply with the company’s policies and procedures and health and safety standards at all times
Assets (nice to have)
· Telehandler license
· Bobcat license
· Training related to construction
· WHMIS Training
