Tile Installer Helper – Calgary, AB
We are looking for a reliable Tile Installer Helper to join our growing team in the Calgary area.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in tile installation or a related construction trade (preferred)
- Punctuality is a must
- Reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives or mortar
- Measure and cut tiles using hand tools and tile saws
- Assist with laying tile according to plans and industry standards
- Apply grout, caulking, and sealants
- Remove existing flooring and prepare work areas
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
- Assist the lead installer with daily tasks as required
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience using tile installation tools, including trowels, levels, cutters, and saws
- Construction or flooring installation experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
