We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and organized individual to join our growing team in a unique role that combines client service, animal care, and veterinary support.
This position is ideal for someone who loves both people and pets and enjoys variety in their workday.
What You'll Do
Client Care & Reception
- Answer phones and respond to client inquiries
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Communicate with clients via phone, email, and text
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Assist with client education and follow-up communications
- Help create a welcoming and supportive experience for every client
Veterinary Assistant Duties
- Safely handle and restraint of dogs and cats
- Assist with appointments and patient care
- Prepare and maintain exam and treatment areas
- Learn to run in-house laboratory diagnostics and bloodwork
- Assist with sample collection and processing
- Support RVTs and veterinarians with day-to-day patient care
What We're Looking For
Required
- Experience working with animals
- Strong animal handling and husbandry skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Comfortable using computers, email, and scheduling software
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred
- Experience in a veterinary clinic, animal shelter, daycare, boarding facility, kennel, grooming salon, or similar animal-care setting
- Veterinary Assistant, Veterinary Receptionist, CSR, or RVT student experience
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology
