Parkway Contracting is an established landscaping company in Niagara that has been operating for over 35 years and services over 150 commercial properties in the Niagara Region. We are family owned and operated and are looking for like-minded individuals who are efficient and reliable to join our team and grow alongside the company.
We are looking to hire individuals for a temporary contract position of Litter Pickup along Ontario Highways.
Responsibilities/Qualifications
- Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to perform physical outdoor work throughout the day in various weather conditions
- Must be able to safely handle basic litter picking and waste collection tools and equipment
- Must be willing to perform repetitive litter picking and general clean-up duties for extended periods
- Must possess a G Class driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation to get to work sites
- A driver’s abstract may be requested
- Must be able to meet strict deadlines and complete assigned clean-up routes or sites on time each day
- Weekend work is required, with a flexible rotational schedule available where possible
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment when required
- Must be willing to work approximately 11 hour shifts, including weekends on a rotating basis
- Must be able to follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness standards in public and outdoor spaces

- Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
